Global Citizen Year Academy
Take Action Global Nominations.
This year, Take Action Global has the opportunity to nominate at least 50 young changemakers to be a part of the Global Citizen Year Academy for the Spring 2022 semester. This online leadership opportunity is open to students ages 17-21.
Accepted students will be able to:
- Connect with young leaders from 80+ countries
- Develop the skill sets and mindsets in order to lead meaningful change in their community and the world
- Learn from world-class speakers like Melinda Gates, Jay Shetty, and Adam Grant.
Take Action Global teachers are invited to suggest students for our nominations. Do you have a student who you think would be a good fit? Please complete this form by November 8th. Note: you may nominate more than one student.

Our GCY Interns lead the Week 5 Mentor Week for the Climate Action Project meeting with classrooms and offering guidance and feedback to young changemakers.
TAG Fellows
Our GCY Interns have opportunities to continue on after their GCY experience as TAG Fellows. Our TAG Fellows design and manage projects and guide our community to take action!
