Graphic Designer and Social Media Lead

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and forward-thinking Graphic Designer to support our growing global initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative professional who understands modern design standards, digital storytelling, and social media engagement especially within the education and nonprofit sectors.
The ideal candidate brings both creativity and strategy with the ability to design compelling visuals that resonate with a global audience of educators, students, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-quality digital assets for social media, campaigns, and marketing materials
- Create engaging visuals aligned with current social media trends and best practices
- Support branding consistency across all platforms and programs
- Collaborate with program teams to visually communicate complex ideas simply and effectively
- Develop graphics for global education initiatives, events, and campaigns
- Assist with light video/animation or motion graphics (preferred but not required)
- Drive social media approach in alignment with brand, community and broad education and environmental sectors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in graphic design (portfolio required)
- Strong proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.)
- Deep understanding of current design trends and social media platforms
- Experience designing for digital-first audiences
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment
- Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling skills
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with the global education sector and nonprofit work
- Understanding of climate action, sustainability, or environmental issues
- Experience creating content for diverse, international audiences
- Motion graphics or video editing skills
- Knowledge of social media approaches and emerging trends
